Sustainability Goals Help Filtrona Cut Pollution

Filtrona has shared new results from its 2025 sustainability report. The company said it made big progress in helping the environment and improving workplace goals.

The company cut its carbon emissions by 51%. This change matches targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative. Filtrona said this was an important step for the business and for climate protection.

CEO Robert Pye said the company is now turning plans into real action. He said the team is working every day to build a better future for workers customers and local communities.

Filtrona also said all of its sites now send zero waste to landfill. This means waste is being reused recycled or treated in other ways instead of being buried in the ground. The company believes this will help lower pollution around its factories.

The company shared more good news in the report. About 88% of its wood materials now come from safe and approved sources. These sources help protect forests and nature. Around 24% of its products are now made with sustainable or plastic free materials.

Filtrona also worked on social goals inside the company. Women now hold 29% of leadership and management jobs. The company said this number continues to grow each year.

The report also said 95% of workers finished important training programs last year. These lessons focused on rules safety and company values. Filtrona said the training helps workers follow the same standards across all offices and factories.

The business also received awards and global recognition. Filtrona earned EcoVadis Gold status which placed it among the top 5% of companies checked around the world. The company also received a B rating from CDP for climate forests and water work.

Filtrona’s Surabaya site also received a carbon neutrality certificate. This means the site balanced its carbon emissions through special environmental steps.

The company says sustainability is now a big part of its daily work. Filtrona plans to continue reducing pollution improving products and building a cleaner future in the years ahead.
